Groomed Trail - takes approximately 2 hours to walk the entire trail. Dogs shouldn't swim in the lake. Risk of infection! Highly populated trail, both paved and bush. | Ski Club – Unofficial Off-Leash Area
Use only in the summer - absolutely restricted in the winter! Somewhat swampy in places but great views if you go off the trails onto the rock. Pick up after your dog - the ski club would be very upset if they had to clean up any poop!

| Niven Lake Trail – On Leash Area
Very nice nature trail around wetland area. Many kinds of waterfowl and other birds. Do not let your dog chase birds or go in the water. Garbage cans available at the two entrances. Pick up after your dog and keep them on leash. This is a highly populated residential area with lots of dogs in backyards.

|
| Prelude Lake Nature Trail – On Leash Area
Incredible nature hike through flat sand, high rock and bush. Lots of climbing through rock areas to incredible views of Prelude Lake. Make sure to wear hikers. Takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Garbage cans available entrance only. Not very well used and usually you're the only one on the trail! Great spots for picnics. Dogs should be leashed. There are bears in the area so please make sure you and your dog are – at the very least - wearing bear bells.
Location: Ingraham Trail
Directions: Drive north on Ingraham Trail for about 30 minutes. Turn left into Prelude Lake park, it is well marked with a large sign. Drive to the first parking lot - one surrounded by a wood fence. There is a map in that area of the trail and it is well marked - just keep your eyes peeled for the markers because there are a couple of tricky spots.
