| If you've lost or found a pet in any community of the NWT please email us at your pet please EMAIL US!
Here is a checklist of things to do if your pet has gone missing in Yellowknife:
- Write a detailed description of your pet to read out to all of these places. Include what collar the pet was wearing, colour, markings, eye colour, breed, weight, any health issues, distinguishing characteristics. Be careful when you say "my pet is friendly". When a dog is running loose and scared you have no idea how it will react!
- Call CJCD at 920-2523 and ask them to do an announcement and list your pet on the Pet Detective.
- Call Yellowknife Bylaw at 920-5630 (or 920-5699 after hours) and ask if they've picked up or have seen your pet.
- Call Great Slave Animal Hospital at 873-2579 and ask them if your pet has been brought in.
- Call the cab companies (and maybe even offer a reward) to ask their drivers to keep a look out for your pet.

LOST CAT
Our 3 year old cat went missing on Friday June 13. She is a very tiny (4.5 - 5lb), female, brown/black tabby. She was lost on Nuttal Court, near Loutit/Banke/Arden area. She is an indoor cat and is a little shy and probably won't go up to strangers. She was wearing a red collar with a bell last time we saw her. If anyone has any information to where she may be, they can call us at 920-7224 or 445-1152 and ask for Teri or Susan.
