Rruff Diamonds Dog Agility Club is a not-for-profit society registered in the NWT. The small group of volunteer coaches and participants organize dog agility practices during the summer months of May through September. Agility is an exciting recreational activity in which dogs maneuver through an obstacle course, guided by their human handler.
Beginner Agility lessons start in May. Registration for these lessons starts in February. Information is posted on the NWT SPCA website. Class size is limited.
Practices take place at the Tommy Forrest Ball Field. The Club has all the proper dog agility equipment. Some Members and their dogs have participated in competitions in the south. The club has brought up professional trainers for lessons and fun meets.
The Club holds an annual fun meet on Labour Day weekend.
