It's Calendar Photo Time! DEADLINE IS JULY 31, 2008 Get your pet's photo in the 2009 NWT SPCA Pet Calendar. All you have to do is supply a high resolution photo that is good enough quality to be enlarged. Photos must be clear and in-focus. Choose carefully - your photo might be funny to you but if we can't see it clearly it won't be eligible for a month. 12 photos will be chosen to represent a month by our photo jury. All of the rest of the photos - as long as they're clear and in focus - will be splashed across the pages of the calendar. Digital photos should be as huge as possible - don't worry we have high speed! Print Photos should be professionally printed. Digital files printed off of your computer are not good enough quality. Please supply us with the original digital file. Please drop off print photos with your photo form (available by clicking the Submit Print Photos button) to: Jans Card and Gift (Hallmark Store) Centre Square Mall Thanks and we can't wait to see your photos!

Advertise in the Calendar! DEADLINE IS JULY 31, 2008 Advertising in the NWT SPCA’s annual Pet Calendar will show your customers and employees that you care about the animals in the NWT. Buy one ad for $150, two for $275, three for $400 and so on. The more you buy, the more exposure you receive. You can also buy an entire month where you’d be the only advertiser on the page for only $650. All of the money raised from advertising goes toward the printing of the calendar so that any sales directly benefit the NWT SPCA. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and the funds go towards pound animal health, the spay/neuter program, public education and much more. A bit more about the calendar... The NWT SPCA Pet Calendar is a yearly event to raise funds for animals in local shelters. All pets are welcome! Calendars will be ready for sale November and we’ll let you know by email! We welcome your donations! Photos will NOT be returned unless you supply a self-addressed, stamped envelope! Only photos with stories will be chosen to represent a month. No people allowed in the photos. Sorry, no exceptions not all photos will make it into the calendar due to space. Only clear, in focus photos will be chosen. High resolution digital photos only please - 6” x 4” at 300 dpi. Action shots are great but so are well-lit indoor shots. By submitting a photo you are allowing NWT SPCA to use your pets photo for our Kennel Break column in the Yellowknifer as well as for advertising purposes.

Calendars are $12 each and all the proceeds go to the NWT SPCA.
